Emily was admitted to the Bar in 2024 following the completion of her Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Otago in 2023. During her time at university, she volunteered as a student advisor for Community Law Otago and the university’s tenancy advice program.
Emily’s interest in corporate and commercial law was sparked during her summer clerkship with a firm in Christchurch and she is excited to continue her journey with Burton Partners.
