Emily completed a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in history at the University of Otago in 2023. During her time at university, she spent three years volunteering as a student advisor for Community Law Otago. Working alongside lawyers, she assisted in providing free legal advice to the Dunedin community.
Emily’s interest in corporate and commercial law was sparked during her summer clerkship with a firm in Christchurch. She is excited to join Burton Partners and hopes to be admitted to the Bar in May 2024.
