About Michael Tinkler

Michael has specialised in commercial real estate, real estate development and real estate finance law since he commenced practice in 1990. During his legal career he has acted on a number of commercial building and commercial real estate portfolio acquisitions, design build and lease agreements, large scale commercial and residential developments, real estate financing work and real estate restructuring and insolvency matters. Michael’s experience covers all areas of real estate, including office, retail, industrial, hotels, apartments residential developments, land subdivisions and significant farming assets.

Michael’s clients include RCL Group, Melbourne Australia, which is undertaking the development and subdivision of Hanley’s Farm at Jacks Point Queenstown as well as RCL’s recent acquisition of the adjacent Homestead Bay development land,  Sedar Properties, Singapore on its various New Zealand Developments including its Remarkables Residences development, Queenstown, its Bellfield  Estates residential subdivision development, Auckland and Pakuranga Plaza Town Centre and also  Safari Group on its numerous New Zealand hotel and apartment developments throughout New Zealand. Michael also acts for several non-bank and mezzanine funders on both real estate lending and restructuring matters.
