About Nick Lovegrove
Nick is a specialist corporate and commercial lawyer with over two decades of experience advising local and international businesses and owners on a range of corporate/commercial matters. Nick has a particular interest in mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, shareholder and joint venture arrangements, financing, and commercial contracts and focuses on providing timely and commercial strategic advice.
Nick’s clients and experience cover a wide range of industry sectors including technology, construction, property development, finance, healthcare, transport, retail, and food.
Nick has 4 daughters (yes, all girls!) and is a ‘retired’ semi-pro cyclist who enjoys tennis, golf and fishing the Hauraki Gulf.
His recent transactions include:
- Advising Futureverse Corporation Limited on its sale of 100% of the shares in digital payments company Centrapay Limited to Bank of New Zealand
- Advising Breakers Basketball Limited (the owner of the BNZ Breakers professional basketball team that plays in the Australian NBL) on the sale of the team and related business and land assets.
- Advising SOS Oxygene Participations on its acquisition of a majority shareholding of Sleep & Breathing (NZ) Limited and ongoing shareholder arrangements
- Advising Free-Flow Manufacturing Limited and Vista Drinks Limited on a capital raise and shareholder sell down and ongoing shareholder arrangements with the new investor
- Advising Healthcare Group NZ Limited on the sale of 100% of the shares in Horizon Radiology to ASX listed Integral Diagnostics
- Advising the shareholders of Kahu Veterinary Equipment Limited on the sale of all the shares to Stockholm listed Vimian Group
